A bit of background...

Ireland Air Ambulance has operated since 2006 fundraising as an association. A series of meetings and supporting dialogue has been taking place over the past few months between the charity, the Department for Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS), the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS).

Our Mission - why we exist...

Roy Orr, a local business man who has considerable aviation experience was asked to become involved and has been part of a team providing direction: “I have seen first hand the benefits provided by air ambulances and I believe that Northern Ireland needs such a service to complement the existing work carried out by land ambulances.

Breaking News

One lucky person, Alan Davidson, has become the owner of a brand new BMW F800S motorcycle and all for the cost of a simple competition entry. At a list price in excess of £6,000, the bike is arguably one of the best value competition prizes of the year, with tickets sold for £5 each and proceeds donated to Ireland Air Ambulance. The winning ticket was drawn at the recent Adelaide Insurance backed Kings Hall Motorcycle Show.
